Virtual Childbirth Education is a thoughtfully curated full spectrum birth support and evidence-based education course brought to you by a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist, Labor and Delivery Nurse, Birth Doula and Lactation Counselor. With our combined knowledge and expertise, we have created a course that goes beyond traditional childbirth education. This course is designed to empower birthing women and families by providing comprehensive education on pregnancy, labor and delivery and breastfeeding. Also included are tips and tricks, and what to expect in the early postpartum period. You will learn how to prep both your body and mind so that you have the tools to create a positive and empowered birth experience.


Content includes:

-Anatomy of pregnancy and the pelvic floor

-Preparing your pelvic floor for delivery and pushing

- Birth Preparation

-Stages of labor

-Birth preferences and decision making in labor

-Possible medical interventions: induction, epidural, cesarean section etc.

-Comfort measures and coping skills during labor

-Partner support during labor

-Breastfeeding

-Early postpartum care/recovery (both for vaginal delivery and c-section)


Upon enrollment you will receive access to the entire course curriculum and be invited to join our private facebook group with other expecting families enrolled in the class. In addition, we will be hosting virtual Zoom socials with additional content and to answer any of your questions about pregnancy, labor and delivery, breastfeeding and taking baby home. A bonus Daddy Bootcamp class is also included!
